The class was entertaining as much as it was informative. The numerous memorization mechanisms made the class much easier.

My strengths and weaknesses were different from those of the majority in our class. Petra nailed my weakness, remained very patient and really helped me overcome my obstacles. Without Petra's special help, I would not have passed.

I took the one week course. I was able to work with Petra an extra day, Saturday. She was very patient and encouraging when drilling me. She gave me the confidence that I needed to perform properly behind the bar and to graduate

I loved this course. It was very hard and fast paced, but fun at the same time. Although Petra was critical when drilling us, I am very grateful that she taught us in that manner because it forced us to work on everything from speed to technique and accurate recipes. Now I will have a better experience when I work behind a real bar. Thanks!

Vanessa was a pleasure to listen to and learn from for the whole program. She spoke clearly and elucidated all information. She came in every morning rip roaring to go, enthusiastic to teach us, no matter if she had been stuck in traffic or not. Her personality and demeanor set a fantastic stage for the class.

This course was a lot of fun. Chaos was kept to a light hearted minimum. Never felt frsutrated with the joking that went on, and usually I'm very sensitive to that. Our instructor was articulate and provided all necessary information for each specific lesson. She was very knowledgeable and it's obvious that she is an experienced and accomplished bartender. Also, extremely patient with repeat questions and clarifications.

Petra did an incredible job of presenting and instructing. She sets a high standrad for students so you finish the course well prepared for the working world.

Barbara has lots of knowledge about each drink and its history. I would encourage her to share even more of this information, as I believe that others would really benefit from it. She was a great teacher, with a real passion for mixology.

Nikki was an excellent instructor. She was patient when she needed to be and pushy when she needed to be :-) I would recommend anyone interested in bartending to visit NBS. Whether for fun, money or both ... Thank you.

There are not enough nice things to say about this Vanessa. She is the best. I got more than my $$s worth and invaluable knowledge of this insdustry. Would definitely recommenend this intructor/course.
